Period correct Henry Rifle Sling, a must for “military Style” Henrys which have attachments for a sling. Soldiers who purchased their own Henry Rifles often had the optional brackets installed on them for a sling. I can attest that a sling is very useful, if you have ever picked up a Henry that has been in the sunlight and got your hands burnt, you know what I mean.
These slings are made C.A. Davisson a master leather craftsman.
Note the “hook” will have to be bent, closed to stay attached to the rifle in the field.
