Made of wool and reproduced from an original these blanket weigh 4 pounds and measures 66” inches wide by 84” inches long. Made by N.J. Sekela who has gotten the texture and color correct to make an excellent example of the original. This type of blanket was issued before, during and after the war. Complete with “U S “chain stitched in the center, so you do not have too, these blankets are ready for the field. I have included photos of our mannequin wrapped up in the blanket to better show the size of it, the mannequin is 6 foot 1 inches tall.
The blanket ends are left “raw” or unfinished as per the originals if you desire you can “whip-stich” the ends as many soldiers did so themselves.
