Iron candle stick holder, Marsden Patent, with a spike to stick into wood of whatever. These are commonly found at campsites or most anywhere large numbers of soldiers camped during the war. Originals are pictured in” Lords Civil War Encyclopedia Volumes 3 4 & 5” The ones pictured there are from various Confederate camps, however I am confident that these were used by soldiers of both sides. Our reproduction is marked with “PAT’D NOV. 1861” and made by N.J. Sekela. Limited supply.
